Since there is not much left to look forward to this year, not even Christmas with our family, I'm using the power of shopping to lighten my mood. And it works! While over time, gifting myself has become less and less exciting, gifting my daughter, on the other hand, is getting more and more fun! Last year, when she was only a little over 1 1/2 years old, opening her presents for the first time made her very happy. I bet this year, at almost 3, it will be even better and I can't wait to see her reaction.
Here are some things her grandparents and us are planning to give her. After a two year long experience I can say that the best baby dolls are Baby Born and Goetz. We got the dolls, but they always need accessories. I chose this stroller, crib and bath tub:
My mom insisted on getting her a little piano. I don't think we'll like it much, but our daughter sure will...
When I discovered the Sylvanian Families, I knew I wanted them all. It's a universe of adorable little animals with all imaginable possessions and a cute retro vibe. I already got the alpacas in Germany and now I found them a home and a vehicle:
Lastly, clothes... I got most of my daughter's holiday outfits from Janie and Jack but I could not pass on this sweater from Jacadi (maybe for our Christmas photoshoot?)
Are you already shopping for presents?
Talk to you soon,
J.
