Artists I admire (part 3)

Hello dear readers!

Here is anther quartet of amazing artists I know - all working in completely different styles (plus I decided to expand into graphics and you'll soon see why). As always, I picked 2 women and 2 men. Read part 1 here and part 2 here

Robin Maria Perdero is a renown Frisco artist who has exhibited her paintings numerous times, has clients all over the world and has won quite some prices for her art. She works in many styles and mediums, but my favorite is her Neo-Abstract Expressionism - vibrant, lively, manifold, pretty.

Jane Aldridge: It is important to start with fashion here, because before mainstream bloggers very successfully convinced us millennial women to spend our salaries on designer bags and belts ca. 2010  (guilty as charged!), there have always been (and hopefully always will be) very personal, creative fashion blogs fueled by vintage clothes, art historic references and experimental photography. I'm talking about blogs like www.thecherryblossomgirl.com, www.misspandora.fr and www.seaofshoes.com. I'm a loyal reader of these three ladies and was very pleasantly surprised that the latter, Jane, is an artist, too. As with her fashion sense, her art is unique, humorous, feminine, swoon-worthy, ... and the couture conaissance is always present, as are her Texan roots.

Alexander Estis: an author and illustrator with a fascinating life- a Russian who has lived all over Germany and now has settled down in Switzerland to be a full time writer. His graphic works and drawings express the complexities and tormens of life and are influenced by biblical and medieval texts and imagery, after all, he has also been a Medieval and Latin lit professor! (Really proud to have such a friend, can you tell?).

Nomaan Adam Nur: The poetic name and the Persian roots are all part of the complexity that his huge canvasses are made of - passionate, emotional, painful, erotic, colorful. Nur works with every medium one can think of in a very expressive, messy and brisk manner. I think these canvasses can make any space look alive.
